Catastropieces is a 3D puzzle game about building Rube-Goldberg like machines out of the everyday objects found in a room. Players are tasked to consider the uses and affordances of all objects in the room in order to create absurd, inventive, and awe-inspiring machines.

  • Organized and conducted biweekly sessions of playtesting

  • Analyzed playtests and communicated design problems to team of 18

  • Researched relevant game mechanics and methods, and created detailed research documents for the team
